The Education Center @ Sishyaa is a fully formed education center that first opened its doors in January 2001. It started as a husband & wife side business, but over time has become a full-fledged corporation with franchises readied for sale by the summer of 2003. More importantly, the Education Center @ Sishyaa began business by conducting itself with professionalism, courtesy, and those great "olden day" values. We knew then as we know now, these are the qualities most everyone looks for in a real education center. So, the Education Center @ Sishyaa decided to continue along the same path of conducting business and run today with those same professional, courteous, and great "olden day" values. We are pleased that so many people have wished us well at the same time earning the reputation as a company that runs as a leader in the community for doing what is right. This is what we pride ourselves on.

From the start, the Education Center @ Sishyaa goal was to attempt to foster the learning of different cultures and languages of the world. Then to add in other lively subjects as time went on. We were fortunate in being so well received and this is what inspired us to move forward and expand our core class offering beyond just a multitude of foreign languages. The response to our other classes has been just as solid in: musical instruments, voice lessons, dance classes, drawing, knitting, photography, personal finance… the list goes on.

Although this was our intention from day one, we made sure that we went one step at a time. This is where our commitment to quality comes from. We began with just one language back in January 2001. In the following 6 - 9 months, we expanded to a larger base of language courses. The next one-year we really worked hard to add in dance, voice, and instrument classes as well.

2003 really marked the year that the Education Center @ Sishyaa took on form to became a legal/corporate entity and found its role in the framework of a even larger educational franchise. This is when we were able to start to fulfill our goal by adding in the full teachings of other languages, cultures and traditions, such as: Japanese, German, French, Spanish, Italian, & Turkish. We will open up a course in the language first and then and then move to add in a full compliment of instruments and dance that is specific to the respective culture.

At the same time we expanded our base language courses, we had the good fortune of running into wonderfully qualified teachers in: Knitting, Painting, Drawing, Yoga, Meditation, Reiki, Nutrition, Personal Finance, Accounting, General Computer, Photography, Instrument, Dance, & Voice. Of course, we took out lots of ad's and talked to virtually anyone that moved to find them, so running into them was inevitable.

Now this is the power of an Education Center !!
We are truly excited to see so many individuals and families attend a variety of courses at our center. All of us at the Education Center @ Sishyaa hope that you find the course that you are looking for. If you don't find it then let us know. We will make every attempt to add it in as soon as possible. If you have a small group of people that want to get together and take a course that is not yet offered, let us know. In these cases we can get a qualified teacher and start a session very quickly.
